Holding Each Other Up

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we hold each other up during hard times.

Really strong things are often built from really small things.

Sand and gravel are essential ingredients in concrete.

Houses in some parts of the world are still made using individual pieces of brick.

Consider the small and simple, and how they coalesce into the big and strong.

Can we think of supporting each other in this way?

Simple gestures, repeated with enough consistency, can lead to incredible things.

Don’t feel stuck because you can’t think of something meaningful enough to do. Something that you think would be truly helpful.

Help has a spectrum. Starting on the lower end still puts you on the spectrum.

Small and simple. Big and strong.

p.s. If you have three more minutes, this post pairs well with Idealism vs. Incrementalism.
